We’re really loving Bonita right now. It’s a great, casual bistro-style Mexican restaurant in Williamsburg. Super cozy inside without being too gimmicky. You can’t go wrong ordering the flavorful tacos and enchiladas (we liked the pork enchiladas and the fish tacos which were moist without being greasy.) For something more adventurous, nab one of the ever-changing daily specials. We had a killer huarache con chorizo, which is a corn masa flatbread with a pile of goodness on top, kind of like a Mexican pizza. Usually we’re a little underwhelmed by any restaurant without a liquor license, but they do have sangria (not-overly-fruity), a typical selection of Mexican beer and a couple of beer cocktails that compliment the cooking.
