Lovely Libations | Rusty Wreckage

For the last couple of days, Lance une Mode has been holed up in the Pennsylvania wilderness visiting family. While we might be city folk at heart, it’s nice to smell fresh air that is actually fresh, see the stars and feel the crunching of dead leaves and grass under our feet for a change. So we may not have access to fancy-schmancy ingredients like green chartreuse and St. Germain’s Elderflower Liquer. So what? We can still get our drink on with class and a little PA style. In honor of the Chrysler Windsor we found buried in the woods, we give you The Rusty Wreckage:

The Rusty Wreckage:

1 part tomato juice
2 parts Yuengling (or other lager-style beer, preferably brewed in Pennsylvania)
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz lime juice
dash Tabasco
Salt & pepper
1 celery stalk

Build all ingredients in a cold pint glass. Garnish with celery stalk. Enjoy.
